OPI haul + teenage dream swatch

Recently I ordered a few OPI's for the winter holidays! They aren't from a collection or anything. Just random colours that I thought were pretty!
I ordered from a facebook shop called Silverrain (link: http://www.facebook.com/silverrain.shop)
I've bought with them before, so I was super happy when they announced they were selling OPI. I actually had to message them this time because they were on hiatus due to the exam period.
So this is how it arrived! It took only...1 week to arrive? I think it was less than a week, but the shop is based in Melbourne so it depends on where you are. Shipping was only $8 I think? Sorry this is a while ago so I can't remember exactly. And shipping would also depend on how many polishes you order as well.
Inside the parcel. The polish is wrapped nicely in bubble wrap! And there is my $10 refund. I ordered bubble bath and it was actually not instock. But I was happy with the way they approached this situation. I was communication with them via text, so upon realising, they texted me as asked if I wanted to choose another or just get a refund. Very polite and efficient in my opinion.

So this is what I ordered. The 2 on the left, I ordered for my friend, so I didn't unpack it. I've ordered OPI twice from Silverrain. The first time they came in a box without the small plastic around them and this time there was the box and individual packaging. Excuse my messy desk. I placed this order before exams and received them after my first exam, which made me super happy so I took a quick snap on my phone.

I absolutely LOVE this! I am wearing 3-4 coats. I think if you put a light pink coat under you can wear less coats, but I just chucked it on top of my base coat. It was SUPER glittery and sparkly! I also received many compliments from friends and the teachers at school didn't make me take it off because it isn't THAT noticeable (although the glitter is super shiny...compared to other colours like red or black, etc. you can't see it that much). Some people asked if they were fakes or if I got them done....when I just did them at home! and the glitter is awesome because you can't see the mistakes and uneven strokes of nail polish!

Tutti Frutti!

Taste:
Price:   ★
Service: N/A

Tutti Frutti is a frozen yoghurt shop which allows you to self serve and produce your own frozen yoghurt tub! They opened a new one in Melbourne Central next to lucky cup (lower ground floor) and I went to try it out yesterday...but I think it isn't worth the price! Also, the yoghurt is way too creamy to be yoghurt.. if that makes any sense? It just felt like I was eating ice cream. Although I do have to compliment the toppings, they had a range that you could choose from and the process of making your own tub is fun and enjoyable. Kids would love it! But as I said earlier, it is super expensive. I grabbed the smallest tub and this came to be around $10+
Not sure if I would try it again, perhaps in summer just for the toppings?!?!

Toodouri Korean BBQ

Taste: ★★★★★
Price:   ★★★☆
Service: ★★★★★

Toodouri is a Korean BBQ located near Vic market. I have to say, thoughout my whole korean bbq experiences, this place has the best service thus far. This was actually the second time I've been here and I obviously couldn't get enough of it!
I ordered a grape soda drink which had grape jelly at the bottom.

First we were presented with starter dishes: seasoned bean sprouts, kimchi and creamed macaroni (I don't know the exact name of these, you get them once you order)

Seasoned bulgogi - this was very delicious. The seasoning was just right, and not too sweet. Many kbbq's have their bulgogi seasoned way to sweet but this one was just right!

Seafood pancake - this thing is massive for the price (which I don't remember at the top of my head). But it tasted very good too! similar to the one in da chang guem in china town, except this one was not a potato pancake, it was flour based. I loved the crunchy sides with the soft areas in the middle!

Nengmian (cold buckwheat noodles) - this was my absolute love.  I have a weird obsession with nengmian and this place makes the best nengmian I have ever tasted in Melbourne so far.

Beef and Tofu soup - the soup was very nice, it was delivered nice and hot. The girls served it for us into our bowls and came regularly to ask if we wanted to refill our bowl!

Wagyu beef bbq & mushrooms - this was ordered later as we were still feeling hungry (although we had all that food already!) the wagyu was very tender and nicely cooked with the help of the girls serving us!

The overall service was great! The girls cooked the bbq meat from start to finish, making sure it wasn't going to burn, and constantly flipping it so it would cook faster. We hardly had to move a finger during this meal other then to feed ourselves!
I would definitely come back and recommend this place you all you korean bbq lovers. I would definitely place this restaurant in my top 3 korean bbq places. This place is a MUST GO!

ChangGo

Service:

So recently I've been going on korean bbq crazes...So here's another one to add to the collection! ChangGo is located in a small alleyway close to Melbourne Central. I would have never found it if it wasn't for my mum parking here one night when we were going to MC.
The restaurant is small but very crowded. After we were seated, we waited for about half an hour before anyone noticed that we wanted to order, despite the many times we tried to get their attention...

We were served with small starter dishes that come with every order. This consisted of kimchi, raddish and a vegetable mix.
So we ordered the Palsaik set, which is basically pork made in 8 different ways. I found it pretty cool and I have to say the presentation of the 8 flavours seemed very traditional.

The Palsaik set also included bean sprouts, mushrooms and kimchi (which I preferred to eat un-bbqed).

We also ordered a seafood tofu soup which was surprisingly good. The crab clippers were huge (a delight for my mum who absolutely adores seafood), and it had a very fresh taste of seafood.

Overall, the food tasted nice but I wouldn't recommend it for a quick meal. If you don't mind the lack of service, then you should try it out!
